GlobalVision recently orchestrated an immersive metaverse conference in a customized 3D environment for a renowned high-tech company in the medical field. This event brought together over 60 participants from more than 17 countries, offering a memorable experience by combining large-scale immersion and interaction.
Creating and customizing the metaverse environment
For this project, we developed a fully customized virtual environment on the Engage platform. Through close coordination with project managers and the company’s leadership, we conducted rigorous functional tests to ensure all technical and visual aspects met the client’s expectations. A week before the event, we organized several onboarding sessions to familiarize employees with the metaverse, enabling a smooth and effective experience during the metaverse conference.
Participants’ avatars were meticulously customized using 3D scans of their faces, with options for full-body or half-body versions. This attention to detail allowed each participant to recognize themselves and feel integrated into the virtual environment, enhancing engagement and participation.
Metaverse conference day: total immersion and seamless interaction
On the day of the event, over 60 participants connected via VR headsets, while others joined from their phones, tablets, or computers, ensuring maximum accessibility. The 1 hour 45-minute workshop included several digital keynotes, interactive presentations, live polls, and concluded with a traditional group photo of the participants’ avatars.
For many employees, it was their first experience with the metaverse. It created a memorable moment, showcasing the potential of this technology for future applications. The event also demonstrated how it is possible to bring together a management team dispersed across 17 countries in a cost-effective manner, optimizing investment while maximizing impact.
