SIG rollercoaster christmas card
Customer: Services Industriels de Genève (SIG)
Brief summary: SIG is the main utility company in Geneva, Switzerland, providing water, gas, electricity and thermal energy supplies to the population and companies. As such, it is a major institutionnal player with a reach used to promote its activities and also contribute to corporate social responsibility and sustainable development. SIG requested GlobalVision to propose a video project in line with its spirit of innovation and specialized skills.
Concept: The project was meant to be a surprising and innovative one, featuring the large scope of professionals working at SIG, as well as its scores of highly recignizeable buildings and facilities. The video is intented for a double purpose, first to communicate externally to all main corporate customers and their employees and wish happy new year 2018. Secondly, the video will also serve a noble cause, as it supports the association “Geneva Autism”: for each visit on the dedicated page, SIG donated 1 CHF to the association. At the end, over 9’000 CHF were donated to the charity.
Solution: The GlobalVision VR design team created a rollercoaster environment, used as a greeting card video available in 2D and in 360°. In this video, we can see a representation of Geneva as a little planet. All of the SIG buildings have been modeled based on photos and other available images, while we added some post-processing effects, like snow-flakes, etc to represent the winter season with some christmas glitters. There is also some typical swiss iconic elements like the cows or the pine trees.
