VR Experience for Lausanne Police

For three days, GlobalVision Communication collaborated with the Lausanne Police to create an immersive and interactive VR experience with a ‘Choose Your Own Adventure’ experience. This innovative project allows users to engage deeply through a VR headset, making decisions that affect the storyline.

Capturing and Producing the Experience

At the start of the project, we spent three days in Lausanne with different police units, filming various scenes in 360°. The storyline goes through a complete narrative involving foot patrol, an arrest, the interrogation process and other police enquiries, before final assault at the suspect’s appartment. Our filming setup included an 8K camera 360° rig along with 360° aerial capture system, ensuring a stunning experience in every perspective.

After completing the capture, we moved onto processing and post-production. This involved editing sequences, color correction, and creating visual effects to enhance the immersive experience in 8K.

Designing the VR Application

Additionally, we developed a comprehensive application that enables users to experience the story interactively. With this app, participants immerse themselves in a realistic environment, making choices that alter the story path, crafting their own unique adventure.

Impact of Our Collaboration

This project was completed in just eight weeks, including filming, video editing, and app creation. It perfectly demonstrates our expertise in 360° video capture and production.
