Brief summary

The SMI organizes several conferences worldwide, not to mention in Geneva and Zurich or in the United States. These financial events are held twice a year in Switzerland to discuss Mining Investment opportunities all over the world. It gathers entrepreneurs and investors active on the mining and gold markets, all coming from different countries. The aim is to foster thought leadership, share investment tips & tricks and talk about research and opportunities in this field.

Concept

The purpose of GlobalVision mission is to film and record the conference, as well as to stream on YouTube / Facebook instantly, which is also called webcasting. Additionally, all videos are subsequently cut into sections, and made available on the website of SMI. Our service allows to watch the conference either “live” or “on-demand”, even if you couldn’t participate to physical event – thus extending by far the reach of the event. in addition to helping viewers around the world, the videos are made available as archive, and also used by presenters themselves willing to have a look at their own presentations. The latest conference took place on March 22, 2018 at the prestigious Mandarin Oriental hotel in Geneva, Switzerland.

Solution

As GlobalVision possesses an expertise in video production and streaming, the SMI naturally asked us to deploy our services, ensuring smooth handling, from pre-production to post-prooduction. Our technical goes beforehand to install all the AV equipment in the room and check its proper functioning. This event included two 4K cameras with all the tools necessary to recover the image and the sound and stream it on YouTube. The D-day in the morning, the final installation and last checks are made so that conference could begin as planned for the audience inside the conference room and worldwide through the connected viewers.
