Brief summary: For the SIHH (Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie), the luxury brand Montblanc contacted GlobalVision to create a custom VR experience, consistent with its green-screen photostudio. The idea was to offer visitors with an immersion into Montblanc “Spirit of Exploration” and give them some thrill in a safe, classy and comfortable atmosphere.
Concept: The aim is to create a social media corner during this exhibition and encourage people to play and publish images, stories and tweets with the hashtag #spiritofexploration. The booth made a resounding success and even won the Best Design Award during SIHH.
Solution: The GlobalVision event team was called early enough in the project, we could improve the initial brief with fresh ideas, that we were capable to activate fast, thanks to our images database of hundreds of shots available for licensing. These images were used into several separate elements, but their repetition brought consistency to the whole project. In addition to bringing all the photo equipment for the photobooth rental (lights, camera, printer), we also brought a fully configured tablet-PC allowing to share instantly on social medias. Finally, we brought several all-in-one VR headsets were we loaded the 360° VR application made for this purpose. When putting the headset on, the visitor is “teleported” on the Mont-Blanc peak, in the middle of the Alps. Right in front of the Aiguille du midi he can freely enjoy a breathtaking experience and keep fond memories of the brand forever.
