360° Video for Healthcare Campaign: Fighting the Zika Virus

Pivotal Role in Public Health Education

GlobalVision was at the forefront of an impactful public healthcare campaign against the Zika virus, leveraging cutting-edge 360° video technology to educate and inform. This innovative approach sparked significant interest, particularly among children, who lined up during their breaks to experience the groundbreaking technology. The campaign aimed to disseminate critical information on the prevention and dangers of the Zika virus, making the message engaging and memorable.

Project Overview: 360° Video for Zika Virus Healthcare Campaign

In collaboration with the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), GlobalVision developed an immersive 360° video to bolster a public healthcare campaign against the Zika virus. Our dedicated team conducted comprehensive 360° video shooting in El Salvador and Colombia, capturing scenes with an 8k 360° video camera and ambisonic sound. Drone technology was employed for aerial captures, enhancing the immersive experience.

Our team traversed numerous communities in both urban areas and traditional locales in the countryside, gathering authentic footage and engaging with the local populace. We meticulously crafted the creative brief, working closely with IFRC project managers and conducting multiple POCs to validate our concepts. GlobalVision handled all aspects of the 360° video production, including shooting, derushing, video editing, and producing two distinct versions: a long-form video for donors and stakeholders (~8+ minutes) and a short-form video optimized for social media.
